Abu Dhabi Distribution Company supplies the emirate, and three phase is widely available in villa districts. Abu Dhabi's newer developments generally have healthier spare board capacity than comparable Dubai stock, which means 9kW and larger heaters are usually feasible without an upgrade — worth knowing if you want a six person cabin with a glass front.
Approvals — Department of Municipalities and Transport
DMT and Abu Dhabi City Municipality govern here rather than Dubai Municipality, and the thresholds are not identical. Villa work inside an existing room is normally a developer NOC matter. Aldar and Modon communities each run their own approval track, and on Saadiyat and Yas the community requirements are typically stricter about working hours and contractor accreditation than about the work itself.
