Hot tub supply and installation in Dubai
Buying a hot tub is easy. Getting it onto a first-floor terrace, giving it a supply that will not trip the board, and stopping it from sitting at 38°C in August whether you want it to or not is the part people underestimate.
We handle the whole job: siting and structural check, the base, the electrical supply, water and drainage, and — the piece specific to this climate — a chiller so the tub is usable in summer rather than becoming an outdoor bath nobody touches from May to October.
What the build involves
Siting and structural check
A filled hot tub with occupants is a very heavy concentrated load. On a ground-floor terrace that is rarely a problem; on a first-floor balcony or a villa roof it needs a structural assessment before anything is ordered. We arrange it, and we would rather tell you the location does not work than deliver a tub that cannot be filled.
The base
A level, drained, load-spreading base — a reinforced slab or a purpose-built frame, never paving slabs laid on sand. Uneven support twists the shell, and a twisted acrylic shell develops stress cracks that no warranty covers. The base also needs a fall away from the house and a route for drain-down water.
Electrical supply
Most domestic tubs need a dedicated 32A supply with RCD protection and an accessible isolator. Larger units with multiple pumps and a heater can need 40A or three phase. This is checked against your board at survey, because discovering it on delivery day is expensive and slow to fix.
Chilling for the UAE summer
This is what makes a hot tub usable here year round. From roughly May to October, ambient temperature alone keeps a tub above 33°C without the heater running at all, which is not pleasant. An inline chiller lets you take it down to 28–30°C in summer and back up to 38°C in winter, and it is far cheaper to fit at installation than to retrofit.

A chiller adds roughly AED 12,000 to 20,000 and is the difference between a tub used twelve months a year and one used five. Elevated installations add crane or manual handling costs and a structural report. Built-in tiled spas are effectively small pool construction and priced accordingly.

A compact tub supplied and installed runs AED 32,000 to 55,000. A standard four to six person tub with a chiller is AED 55,000 to 95,000. Premium units including terrace works reach AED 160,000. Built-in tiled spas start around AED 120,000.
Do I need a chiller for a hot tub in Dubai?
If you want to use it between May and October, yes. Ambient temperature alone holds a tub above 33°C in summer, which is too warm to be enjoyable. A chiller lets you run it at 28 to 30°C in the hot months.
Can a hot tub go on a villa roof or balcony?
Sometimes, but never without a structural assessment. A filled tub with occupants is a heavy concentrated load and most residential balconies were not designed for it. We arrange the assessment before anything is ordered.

How often does the water need changing?
Every eight to twelve weeks in normal domestic use, sooner with heavy use. Cartridges get rinsed weekly and replaced every few months. Ozone reduces chemical demand considerably but does not remove the need for a water change.
